CrossFit CEO Don Faul helped set the tone for the PFAA meeting following the Games. We appreciate his partnership and desire to see professional athletes' careers flourish. Note his clear ask that athletes come to CrossFit with one voice - that voice is the PFAA. This is happening.

The PFAA met in person on Monday August 7th, 2023, following the CrossFit NOBULL Games. PFAA President, Brent Fikowski, kicked off the session with some introductions, background, and thoughts as to how we define professional athlete. Additionally, he spoke to our collective ability to develop the sport and athlete experiences - not just for ourselves but for future athletes.

We met with as many athletes as possible at Semifinals.

This is a short compilation of a couple of those sessions. We looked at the history of athlete associations and talked through some of our own history. Most importantly, we talked about what we can do together to drive meaningful change to our sport.
